Just about to make a sandwich and had to take a beat.

Gerry makes beautiful bread.

Could not have ever imagined us having this bakery when we met over 13 years ago. And yet, looking at this literal labor of love and knowledge, I can’t imagine us NOT doing it now.

This bread represents his years of hard work, endless curiosity and unwavering passion for making good bread for us.

I am lucky as hell to eat it.

Worldwide Community Bake Day is October 16 — and there are plenty of ways to take part. Bakery owners can host an event or create a special menu item to spotlight their local grain economy. Home bakers can bake a loaf to share with family or neighbors. Big or small, every event helps build connection around food and local grain traditions.

Hey folks!❤️

We are adding to our “small but mighty” team of two!

Looking for someone who is interested in learning about bread production and good with all that comes with it such as packaging, lots of cleaning and lifting 50 lbs bags of flour or loading up full bins of bread for markets.

Also, having a positive energy, a collaborative spirit and a good sense of humor are all very important to us. Bread making is awesome, hard work and life is too short not to have fun doing it, right?

UPDATE: We are just about sold out for preorders for this Friday (wow🥹!). Gerry and I added as much as we could and y’all grabbed it up! Still have some bread & focaccia left.

Sooooo…🤷🏻‍♀️

As always, we will make bread & cookies for the porch/walk up and we’ll be at HLMS Empowering Businesses, Nurturing Community Main St Market tomorrow night, 5-7:30pm with this week’s menu.

Looking ahead, we will add another day to the porch pick up starting in November once markets wrap up. So excited you like the bread as much as we do!
