It's graduation season! 🎉

Our psychs do waaaaaayyyy more than just test. We strive to create lasting meaningful real relationships with students to support their social and emotional growth and we are so excited to be able to watch them cross that finish line and graduate! There is truly nothing more rewarding. Congrats to all of our 2026 seniors 👏

We've got graduates! 🎉👩‍🎓 Congrats to our interns AJ Pare and Gretchen Beernink who have completed their school psychology programs! We are thrilled that both will be joining us full time next school year as psychologists.

We had the best time connecting with fellow psychologists for our last in person Professional Learning of the year on Friday! Thank you to our wonderful presenters for expanding our learning on EMDR, Behavior Support and Instructional Consultation.

Every year we award the Dr. Alicia Bennett Excellence in Equity Award. We are so proud to honor, Reena Hunt, psychologist at Edgemere Elementary School and Logan Elementary School BCPS who works with her schools to ensure equitable school psych practices and on initiatives to build inclusiveness in her school community. She also serves our Racial Equity Workgroup and has created open spaces for psychologists to receive equity case consultation. We are so proud!

We are thrilled to spotlight Michelle Kaufman as our last school psych spotlight of the year. Michelle has worked with us for 30 years and has a unique role as our psychologist at the Assessment Center!
