It was an outstanding day for Communication Studies and Mass Communication students, who had the opportunity to connect with departmental alumni in Washington, D.C. We are grateful to our presenters for generously sharing their time and insight. From Capitol Hill and public affairs to nonprofit and private sector to news media careers, students gained a clear understanding of the value of networking, pursuing opportunities, and seeing firsthand how the work truly gets done. Special thanks to Steven Mister for making this experience possible year after year it remains a distinctive and meaningful opportunity for our soon-to-be graduates.
