A sincere thank you to the staff of Marlboro Elementary School for their unwavering dedication to providing a high-quality education and a supportive learning environment for their students. Through their hard work, compassion, and commitment, they have made a lasting impact on countless children and families over the years.

A special thank you to Principal Dana Gordon-Macey, who has navigated ever-changing times with grace, integrity, and steadfast leadership. Her commitment to students, staff, and the school community has been evident through every challenge and transition, and her thoughtful guidance has helped shape a positive and supportive environment for all.

Thank you to the staff at Jamaica Village School for making the Jamaica PreK Program possible. A special recognition goes to Kathie Gatto-Gurney, the program Director and classroom teacher, whose creativity, enthusiasm, and love for early childhood education made this program so memorable and enriching for our youngest learners. From puppet shows and caricatures to plenty of dancing and laughter, Kathie created a joyful learning environment where children could learn, grow, and thrive. Talk about reaching new heights! Dover Elementary School students crushed their challenge, and as a result, Principal Tracey Gamache spent the day working from the ROOF of the school! Congratulations to the students for their hard work and determination. Check out the article for the full story!

ATTENTION RESIDENTS OF THE WRED- West River Education District.

Wednesday, June 17th is the WRED SY27 Budget Revote on the following Article.

"Shall the voters of the school district approve the school board to expend $15,062,158 which is the amount the school board has determined to be necessary for the ensuing fiscal year? The West River Educational District estimates that this proposed budget, if approved, will result in per pupil education spending of $16,161 which is (0.83%) higher than per pupil education spending for the current year."

There will be an informational meeting on Monday, June 15th at Leland and Gray Union Middle and High School at 7:00 PM to discuss the above Article.
