Huge congratulations are in order for Old State Elementary School! The Otters were recently recognized with a Heart Safe School Designation by Nemours Cardiac and its affiliate, Project ADAM. This designation signifies OSE has undergone training to prepare and protect students, staff, and visitors in the event of a cardiac emergency.

Last week at Old State Elementary, our staff proudly celebrated Spread the Word Week by focusing on what truly makes our school community special- inclusion, acceptance, and kindness.

Throughout the week, our students and staff had conversations about the importance of making everyone feel valued, respected, and like they belong. These are the moments that help shape not only our school culture but the kind of community we hope our students help create in the world.

We are proud to stand together and spread the word that everyone belongs at Old State.
