Dear Adie School Families,

As you may have heard, 7 year old Anna, a Lowell public school student with autism, went missing yesterday afternoon from the Lowell area. Although she was not a member of the Adie school community, I know we have all felt anxious and waves of emotion over this situation and the thought of this happening to one of our own children/students. A few months ago, I shared some information on our school page regarding the Lowell Police Department's "Safe watch" program. I would like all families to consider registering their children for this program. It only takes a second for a child to go missing. By registering your child with the Safe Watch program the police department is able to gather pertinent and recent information on the child should they go missing. This will allow them the opportunity to be immediately prepared to begin an informed search, deploying resources constructively with the best chance of returning the individual as quickly as possible. Family members are encouraged to make use of this program by filling out the form below and update it with the LPD as necessary. Here is the link for the online registration form:

Lowell PD is also piloting a program known as "Project Lifesaver". Students/children are provided a tracking device to wear on their wrists. This assists the police department in tracking your child if they go missing. The device is provided by the police department free of charge to the families that wish to participate in this program. We currently have 2 students enrolled in the program. Please check your emails from the Adie. I have attached information about the program as well as the application/contract to the email. Once you complete the application please send it to me at school and I will submit it to our contact at the Police Department.

Dear Friends and Family,

Jaxxy will be participating in TAYSA's second annual Goal-a-thon on Sunday, May 7, 2023 (rain date 5/21/23). He will be taking 5 shots on net and his goal is to score a hat trick (which is three goals within 5 shots). Jaxxy’s team has an opportunity to win an ice cream party for raising the most money. Also, if he is the player who raises the most money, he will receive an official New England Revolution jersey.
Jaxxy hopes you will consider helping him reach his goal and support TAYSA this season.

His favorite part was the cookies, and he was less then impressed with my French Toast puzzle pieces - as Amy Rager makes good pancake ones.

April is quickly approaching and it is time to get back on the bandwagon of sharing Jaxx, and spreading awareness!

My goal is to get back in our groove and raise money again next year for now that COVID and life is slowing down a bit!

Anyways, Jaxxy was able to meet his idol today! Boston Bruins, Taylor Hall!!
