Some of our 7th graders took the opportunity to design a fabric square that will be sent to be a part of the MyAmerica project. Their squares will help to make a giant flag that will be displayed in Boston (and other locations). They could display their hopes and dreams for their futures, birthday messages for America or what being a part of America means to them today.

A common misconception about theater class is that the skills learned are limited to acting. Theater class involves so much more, including reading plays based on true events and researching the history behind those events. Check out these seventh grade projects!

🎃📣 Alistair, an HBMS student who didn't just grow a pumpkin… he grew a 1,700-POUND GIANT! 🤯🎃

That's heavier than a grand piano! 🎹 Heavier than a cow! 🐄 Probably heavier than all of our backpacks on a Monday combined! 🎒😅

Alistair is taking his massive pumpkin to the Topsfield Fair's All New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, going head-to-head with some of the best growers in the region and aiming for a Top 5 finish! 🏆

Months of watering, weeding, and patience (SO much patience) have led to this moment. We are beyond proud of you, Alistair! 🌱➡️🎃

Drop a 🎃 in the comments to cheer him on, and stay tuned for results! 👇

Ms. Merrill's 6th graders have been learning about early human origins. They recently started investigating cave art and created our own. Students had to follow the model of early humans and only use red, yellow, black, and brown and could not include any letters or words.
