Townsend Art Classes (Kids & Teens) — Free Tryout + Limited-Time Discounts
Want your child to build real drawing/painting skills (and actually *love* coming to class)? I run an art studio here in Townsend, and **registration is open now** for **August + Fall**. Classes are **ongoing** (no strict start date), and each term is **8 classes for \$250**.
1) Start with a **FREE tryout class**
No payment needed to try it.
**Just reply to this post with:** **“TRYOUT”** (and your child’s age + which day/time you prefer). I’ll save you a spot.
2) Register by **August 30, 2026** and get **10% off**
- Regular: **\$250**
- **10% off** = **\$25 savings**
- Your price: **\$225**
3) Bring-a-Friend Discount: **20% off**
If you and a friend (or sibling/cousin) register, you each get **20% off** your term:
- **20% off \$250** = **\$50 savings**
- Your price: **\$200**
4) If you do BOTH (Early Bird + Bring-a-Friend)
If you register by **Aug 30, 2026** *and* bring a friend, your total becomes:
- \$250 → **10% off** = \$225 → **extra 20% off** = **\$180**
- **Final price: \$180** (saves \$70)

Class Schedule (choose what fits)
Tuesdays – 4:00 PM: Beginner Drawing (Kids)**
We cover strong foundations: proportion & measuring, perspective, space/shapes, coloring techniques, and confidence with different tools.
Thursdays – 6:00 PM: Painting (Kids)**
Fridays – 4:30 PM: Manga / Character Drawing (Ages 9+)**
Saturdays – 9:30–10:30 AM: Drawing for Teens (Ages 9+)**
Saturdays – 11:00 AM: Beginner Drawing (Kids)**
Private lessons available** if none of these times work—message me and we’ll find a time.
What kids actually learn (and keep)
By the end of a term, students have a toolkit they can reuse forever:
color theory, pattern & mark-making, texture, line & shape, rhythm/repetition, creating movement and focal points, and trying different mediums (so they can discover what they love).
