Please join us in welcoming Ms. Charlene Taylor as the newest Assistant Principal at Odessa High School!
Ms. Taylor brings more than a decade of experience in education, including service as an early childhood teacher, long-term substitute in the LIFE program, and, most recently, as an English teacher and ELA Department Chair at Appoquinimink High School. Her career began in Baltimore County, and during her eight years in the Appoquinimink School District, she has led professional learning in instruction and classroom management, supported school and district literacy initiatives, coached teachers, and worked to expand equitable opportunities for students.
Ms. Taylor is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with students, families, and staff while fostering a school culture grounded in transparency, collaboration, and high expectations!
