Since we were unable to gather for our 40th year reunion last year, any interest in getting together this summer? We could gather for dinner at the school, attend the block party, and also create a float for the parade. Thoughts?

Happy 4th of July to all of you. It’s hard to believe that next year will be our 40 year reunion. Let’s start planning now. I love how we have celebrated the 4th of July together in past years. As a matter of fact, if you go to my page, I shared a music slideshow of past Independence Day celebrations including great pictures of many of you. Check it out. In terms of next year, I love what we have done in the past: The Live Band featuring Sonja Martel, John Faulks, James Wunderlich, and Gary Flummer, the Block Party, creating a float for the parade and gathering at a park or classmates home. Please share your thoughts and ideas for next year. Looking forward to spending time together again. Have a great 4th!

So sad to announce the passing of classmate Scott Denison. His senior quote was, "I've got guts, but she's crazy." He was a very kindhearted man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Thoughts and prayers to all of the special people in Scott's life including his wife, Ronda, and great friends, Sonja and Steve. Please feel free to share any pictures that you may have of Scott.

Plans for our 35th Class Reunion include the following:

"Jam Session" featuring Sonja Martel Jantzen, John Faulks, Jim Wunderlich, Todd Guilmette, and Gary Flummer at Sonja Martel Jantzen's house (2648 Quarterline Rd, Hubbardsville) at 4:00PM on Saturday, July 2nd. Cost is $10 per person for Pub wings and pizza. BYOB - "Bring Your Own Beverage". Please RSVP if you haven't already so we can get a head count.

*Join us on the float in the 4th of July parade! The theme is "Strike Up the Bands". The plan is for each member of the class to wear a t-shirt from a band in the 80's (or any band t-shirt will do!).

CLASSMATES ..Can you please respond if you are interested in helping with the float in the parade? The deadline to register is June 17th and we have had very little feedback. Also, we are planning a get together at Sonja's house on July 2nd. We need a head count ASAP so we can order pizza from the Pub... If there isn't enough interest, we will have to cancel our plans. Let's celebrate our 35th together!!! John, Lynda, Sonja Lynn, and Ronna are in!!! Join us!

Hey CLASS of '81! The theme for this year's Fourth of July parade is "Strike Up The Bands". If Sonja can provide the trailer, how about we set up a "stage" with a band playing recorded music. Everyone on the float can either be "playing" an instrument and/or wearing a favorite concert t-shirt. Thoughts? The application deadline is Friday, June 17th. Let me know what you think.

Pre-registration for the parade needs to be done by June 17th. Are we in Class of "81? I vote YES! We should have a common theme. We could all wear Hawaiian shirts, cowboy hats, or dress in school colors? Thoughts?
