HCS hosted 44 New York state teachers on July 16th for a New York Agriculture in the Classroom conference. Educators were able to go out and visit real world industry professionals, making connections for their classrooms. Then upon returning to school they participated in 2 hands-on workshops where they experienced real world, authentic learning that they can now bring back to their students pre-k through high school. HCS was one of 3 locations chosen to host this statewide conference. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County , National FFA Organization , New York Agriculture in the Classroom

A Message from the Superintendent

Dear Hamilton CSD Community,

It is with immense gratitude, humility, and excitement that I join the Hamilton Central School District as your new Superintendent of Schools. I am honored to become part of a community with such a rich tradition of academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and an unwavering commitment to students.

As I begin this journey, I do so with a deep commitment to serving others. I believe the role of superintendent is one of service. I am here to serve our students, families, faculty, staff, Board of Education, and the greater Hamilton community. I am committed to listening and learning with intention, leading with integrity, and working collaboratively so that every decision we make reflects what is best for our students and supports the success of our entire school community.

Together, we have an amazing opportunity to create learning experiences that challenge, support, and empower every student, every day while fostering a culture of collaboration where everyone feels valued, respected, and connected. I look forward to building upon the district’s strong foundation while embracing opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to the Board of Education for the confidence they have placed in me to take on this role. I am equally grateful to the faculty, staff, students, and community members who have been so welcoming and supportive over the past few months as I have attended a variety of school and community events. I have truly enjoyed being a firsthand witness to the passion, dedication, and pride that I have seen from each of you.

In the weeks and months ahead, I look forward to continuing meeting and working with all of you whether in our schools, at athletic events, concerts, community gatherings, or simply around the village. One of my highest priorities is to build trusting relationships as I firmly believe our greatest successes come when we work together with openness, mutual respect, and a shared sense of purpose.

As we begin this new chapter together, I know we can accomplish so much. Thank you for welcoming me into this wonderful community. It is my privilege and honor to serve alongside you.
