We have a few upcoming closings and hours adjustments we'd like to announce!

🍖 Saturday, August 22nd
The restaurant will be open from 12 pm to 4 pm and will close for indoor dining at 4 pm. Doors to The Yard Amphitheater open at 6 pm for the Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Kitchen Dwellers w/ support from Wakefield & Ruch! show. The food vending window for concert ticket holders will open at 6 pm. Our indoor and outdoor bars will both be open for the concert.

Closed for staff appreciation Adirondack getaway day!

Closed for the Annual RBQ Golf Open. Golf spots are full, but we are looking for sponsors! This year we are fundraising for Two by Two Nursery School in Hamilton. What a muddy, messy, and memorable day celebrating International Mud Day! 🌎🤎

Children and their families had a blast squeezing, squishing, scooping, and creating together! Our sensory table was full of muddy discoveries, the mud painting station inspired beautiful works of art, and the mud kitchen was buzzing with friends mixing up all kinds of imaginative muddy creations.

At Two By Two Nursery School, we know that messy play is more than just fun… it encourages creativity, problem-solving, sensory exploration, and social interaction.

🌿 It's International Mud Day! 🌿

Join us as we celebrate with a Pop-Up Playtime full of muddy fun!

Monday June 29th 9:30- 11:30 a.m. at Merrywood Playground (Park Methodist Church)

Our playground will be transformed into a hands-on muddy adventure. Explore our fully stocked mud kitchen, create muddy masterpieces at our art station, splash, squish, dig, and discover—all through the joy of messy play!

This free, open-play event is sponsored by Two By Two Nursery School. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Play experiences are designed for children ages 2–5, but everyone is welcome to join in the fun—we never discourage anyone from playing!

Come dressed for the mess and get ready to make some muddy memories!

We love days where we can bring our art outside!

There’s something truly special about getting little hands in the soil 🌱

Recently, our preschoolers planted marigolds, cucumbers, tomatoes, wildflowers, and grass…. and while it may look like simple fun, there was a lot of learning going on!

Planting seeds helps children develop patience as they wait and watch for growth. It introduces early science concepts like life cycles, weather, and what plants need to survive. It also strengthens fine motor skills as they scoop, pour, and gently press seeds into the soil.

Gardening nurtures responsibility and pride. The children are already excited to check on their plants each day, building a sense of ownership and care for living things.

Experiences like this connect children to nature, spark curiosity, and create meaningful, hands-on learning that sticks with them far beyond preschool! 🌼
