“What is a typical day at camp like?”
That’s one of the questions we hear the most.
Each day at Eastern US Music Camp is designed to balance serious study, ensemble work, rest, and fun:
• Theory classes at different levels, plus harmony, composition, conducting, and improvisation;
• Rehearsals with bands, orchestras, choirs, jazz combos, rock bands, and chamber groups;
• Full meals and built-in rest blocks;
• Evening activities, student and faculty recitals, town visits, movies, observatory trips, fireworks, banquets, and more.
All of this happens in comfortable, supervised dorms on a college campus in Hamilton, NY—a charming, safe college town.
