CBC High School - St. Louis, MO CBC is a fully accredited Catholic, Lasallian, college preparatory high school founded by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1850.

CBC welcomes students in grades 9 - 12 (all boys) with a total enrollment of approximately 845 students. Christian Brothers College High School is a Catholic, Lasallian school committed to serving students from a variety of backgrounds who hold a wide-range of God-given gifts and talents. Lights, camera...StudentCam!

Today, our CBC sophomores officially kicked off their 2027 C-SPAN StudentCam projects! Students learned about this year’s theme, heard from past CBC participants, watched award-winning examples, and began thinking about how they can use documentary filmmaking to tell stories that matter.

A huge thank you to C-SPAN and C-SPAN StudentCam for continuing to give students across the country a platform to make their voices heard.

Now the challenge is on: what will our sophomores create this year?

8th-grade families, join us for a Showcase & Happy Hour Night built around what matters most to you. These on-campus events for the Class of 2031 and their parents offer an inside look at the programs, opportunities, and experiences offered at CBC.

Choose three topics from our menu of options: Academics, Academic Support, Athletics, Esports, Faith Formation, Fine & Performing Arts, Honors & College Credit Programs, Justice & Inclusive Community, Leadership, Scholarships/Individual Family Tuition Program, and STEM Academy.

Our faculty and staff will give you a closer look at the opportunities that interest you most through three 15-minute sessions. When the sessions are over, stay awhile to meet more of our faculty and staff and enjoy food, drinks, and music. Our swimmers, divers, and coaches took to the open water yesterday at Swim Across America at Innsbrook, with team members completing the 2-mile event in memory of former Assistant Swim Coach Dana Wehrmann. Dana passed away in 2022, but her legacy lives on through this event and the impact she had on the athletes she coached.

Joe Guinness '03 was always interested in math and science, but his CBC story is so much more. After CBC, he earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics from Washington University in St. Louis and later a Ph.D. In Data Science and Statistics at the University of Chicago.

He credits CBC with providing an excellent all-around education, pushing him in a variety of ways both in and out of the classroom. "We were challenged to read classic books, confront moral and ethical questions, appreciate the arts, and develop our physical capabilities through sports and other activities. We were always supported by a teacher or someone in the administration when we wanted to start a new club or participate in extracurricular activities."

Current Parents/Guardians, don't forget Back to School Night is tomorrow (8/25) night at 7 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet your son’s teachers and get an overview of what will be covered in classes this year.

Class of 2030 parents are invited to an optional meeting at 5:45 in Ross Hall to learn more about how students can get involved and access support resources.
