A group of 8th grade history students recently visited Cahokia Mounds! There they explored the history and culture of the Indigenous people who built this remarkable city, tried their hand at an ancient game of “chunky,” climbed Monks Mound, and visited the Woodhenge reconstruction. It was a great day of connecting what they’ve been learning in the classroom to the rich history right here in our city!

PICKLEPALOOZA! Grab a partner and join us Saturday, September 19, at 3:30 p.m. on the Westminster tennis courts for an afternoon of pickleball, food, prizes, and plenty of friendly competition.

With three skill divisions, there’s a spot for everyone, from first-time players to seasoned pickleballers. Plus, enjoy Sugarfire BBQ, Stephie’s Sweet Treats, and a chance to take home the coveted Golden Paddle!

Registration is $75 per team. Find your partner, come up with a great team name, and we’ll see you on the courts!

Friday Night Lights! It was a great evening at Spartan field for our first “home” football game of the season. Congrats to the Wildcats on their win, and thanks to everyone who attended.

This May, 10 Westminster students traveled to France for the inaugural visit of our new exchange program with La Salle Sainte Marie Nemours, just south of Paris!

Students lived with host families, experienced French culture and school life firsthand, and built new friendships along the way. The trip also included plenty of exploring, with visits to Paris, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and more.

We’re grateful for the incredible hospitality our students received and excited to return the welcome this fall when 15 students from La Salle Sainte Marie visit Westminster!

The class of 2027 headed to Pinecrest Camp last week for the annual Senior Retreat. It was an exciting two days of competition and camaraderie… and a wonderful way to start the school year together.

A new tradition! Yesterday, the freshman class headed to Pinecrest Camp for a day of games, challenges, and lots of rain. But the weather didn’t slow them down as they spent the day getting to know new classmates, reconnecting with friends, and kicking off their first year of high school together.
