Senior Spotlight — ✨KATIE BETH✨

Katie Beth graduated from Cor Jesu Academy. She is now attending Florida State University, studying behavioral neuroscience on the pre-dental track. Katie Beth studied voice with Miss Lisa since the age of seven and loved every moment of her journey. While voice was always a meaningful part of her life, dance also helped shape who she is today. She began dancing at age two and trained and competed for the past 13 years. She was a member of the ensemble team at the Professional Dance Center and was captain of the Cor Jesu dance team. In addition to dance and voice, Katie Beth explored musical theater, with favorite roles including “Young Fiona” in Shrek, “Lavender” in Matilda, and “Brooke” in Legally Blonde, as well as multiple ensemble performances at The Muny. She performed with the Arch City Theater Troupe for the past eight years and served as its Creative Director for the last two. Beyond the arts, Katie Beth was deeply involved in leadership at Cor Jesu, serving as Class President, treasurer of the National Honor Society, and as secretary of Youth-In-Action. Katie Beth would like to extend her gratitude to her parents for their unwavering love and support. Finally, to Miss Lisa, whose influence in her life has extended far beyond voice lessons. Miss Lisa believed in and supported Katie Beth every step of the way, and she can’t thank her enough. Miss Lisa has always been a source of guidance and encouragement that Katie Beth will forever cherish.

From a darling seven-year-old to an amazing, accomplished young woman in the blink of an eye! Katie Beth, it was a privilege to be your teacher for 11 years and to literally watch you grow up. Your work ethic is unmatched and you are one of the most reliable and dependable students I’ve ever had. With your character and intellect, I can’t wait to see what you do in this world! Soak up the sun at Florida State and continue to put your whole heart into everything you do.

Senior Spotlight — ✨GIGI✨

Gigi graduated from Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MICDS). At the end of September she is thrilled to be attending the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) studying neuroscience. In high school Gigi loved being a part of her school’s thespian society and finding a community there. She prides herself in her baking business, “Dang Girl,” which she started two years ago, and loved leading the Saint Louis chapter of the Wishing Crane Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that donates paper cranes with positive messages to hospice and hospital patients. Some of Gigi’s favorite shows included playing “Lydia” in Beetlejuice at MICDS and being in the ensemble of GCPA’s Something Rotten! Gigi would like to thank Miss Lisa for her love and support. She cherishes the conversations and moments in lessons they had together. As she goes into this next chapter, she is thankful for Miss Lisa who helped her gain more confidence and skills both vocally and in everyday life. Gigi would also like to thank her family for the endless love and support they provided on her theater journey. While she is sad to be leaving, Gigi is forever grateful to Miss Lisa who provided her this joyful and supportive space over the last nine years.

Gigi, you were full of s***k when I met you as an incoming fourth grader, and I knew we’d get along because you loved the storytelling most of all! Over the years you made us laugh with your excellent comedic timing and cry with your connection to dramatic text. You’re interested in figuring out the characters you play… So how appropriate that you’ll be studying neuroscience in college! I will miss our weekly catch-up sessions, but I know you’ll be a blessing to everyone you interact with at UCLA!

Senior Spotlight — ✨RYAN✨

Ryan graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy. She loved singing every week with Miss Lisa since she was 10 years old! This fall she is attending Indiana University, and while she’s still undecided on what she will study, she cannot wait to see what’s in store for her at IU. While at St. Joe, Ryan loved being part of the SJA Varsity Dance team, especially winning State in Hip Hop in 2025 and being elected as a team officer for the 2025-2026 season. Ryan performed at The Muny, in several shows at GCPA, including the title role in Matilda, and for many summers with ACTT, where she served on the leadership team as a choreographer. Ryan would like to thank her family, especially her sisters and her parents, for always showing up and supporting her. Finally, she would like to thank Miss Lisa for her guidance throughout the years. Singing with Miss Lisa every week was the perfect outlet for her creativity and something she will miss tremendously next year. Ryan will be forever thankful that she was given the opportunity to be part of Lisa Christine Studios!

Even though you’re all grown up, I will always picture you as “Matilda” with your wild, gorgeous curls! You accomplished a lot of goals during our years together, Ryan, but I’m most proud of how you stayed true to yourself. You chose to focus your time and energy on things that brought you joy, and you were willing to let other chapters close as you grew and your interests changed. I love that voice lessons always remained a priority for you, and I hope you will carry forward the skills you learned. You are beautiful inside and out and I know you will continue to shine at IU!

Senior Spotlight — ✨AUDREY✨

Audrey is 18 years old and graduated from Cor Jesu Academy. This fall she is attending Missouri State University studying data science. Audrey has been on stage many times with Shooting Star Productions (SSP), Chaminade College Preparatory (CCP), Cor Jesu Academy (CJA), and Gateway Center for Performing Arts (GCPA). Her favorite roles include “Minnie Fay” in Hello Dolly! (SSP), “Scarecrow” in The Wizard of Oz (CJA), “Ellie” in Freaky Friday (CJA), and “Gloria” in Madagascar, Jr. (CCP). Audrey took voice lessons at Lisa Christine Studios for two years. She also enjoys playing racquetball and singing in choir and was selected for the 2026 Missouri All-State Choir. Audrey would like to thank her parents for always supporting her and Miss Lisa for teaching her, helping improve her voice and for always believing in her.

Two years wasn’t long enough, but I loved every minute of our lessons together! Audrey, voice is special and it was so fun to hear you soar on the high mix-belt songs that most students are afraid of! I’m hopeful you will continue to use your musical gifts in college and beyond. Have a blast at Missouri State, and please come watch your sister in future recitals so I can see you!
