Dear Families and Community,
I have been receiving many messages concerning the closing of The Learning Tree. I am not ignoring you but it is simply overwhelming, and I do not have anything new to tell you. While we are grateful for your concern for the loss of our well-loved community icon, we ask that you please give us credit for the many hours we have spent contemplating this painstaking decision. We have not just decided to close because we were tired of existing or because it was the easy answer. Circumstances were preventing us from having the quality preschool that we have always had, and we chose not to settle for a compromised version. We have delayed this decision several times, only to come to the same conclusion. I, personally have prayed about this and have agreed to accept the decision that God gave me, even if I did not like it. He has closed several doors, some of which I ignored, but the most recent one solidified His answer to me. I cannot say that I understand His plan, but He has been faithful in the past and we need to trust that He will be faithful in the future.
