Learning moved beyond the classroom as Computer Systems Technology students toured the school's network closets and server room. Students discovered how the network is structured and how technology systems throughout the building communicate and work together. The visit provided valuable insight into the infrastructure that supports daily school operations.

Our Computer Systems Technology students are getting hands-on experience building a network from the ground up!
Students are running network cables from their computers, attaching RJ45 connectors, and punching down cables into network termination blocks.
These connections are then linked to a network switch, allowing the computers to communicate with the network and server.
This hands-on activity gives students real-world experience with network cabling, cable termination, connectivity, and troubleshooting — skills they can use in the IT industry.
Great work by our students as they continue developing their technical skills!
