Back to school season is officially in session! 📚🌾

Stark County Farm Bureau and Ag in the Classroom had a great time at Back to School Night, getting ready to plant a few seeds of agricultural education in the hearts and minds of our students! 🌱👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

We’re excited for another year of growing knowledge, cultivating curiosity, and showing students where their food—and a whole lot of hard work—comes from! 🚜🍎

🌽The fair was udderly packed with AG-cellent learning! 🐖🐄

Many kiddos stopped by the Stark County Ag in the Classroom display at the fair for awesome agriculture lessons every day! We talked all things pork, beef, dairy, sheep, poultry, and goats—because there’s always plenty of moo-ving, baa-rilliant, cluck-tastic, and totally un-baa-lievable things to learn about agriculture!

And if you missed the boat—or should we say, the goat!🐐🐑

🍦🇺🇸 We had a scoop-er duper time at our Stark County Farm Bureau Ice Cream Social! Thanks to Prairie Farms Dairy everyone enjoyed the delicious Red, White & Boom flavor, and the pedal pull was a huge success. 🚜💨

These hands-on mini lessons give kids the opportunity to learn more about agriculture, where their food comes from and the important role farming plays in our everyday lives.

Join us for the Pedal Pull on Friday at 5 p.m. as young competitors put their skills to the test in this fun fair tradition. After the pedal pull, stick around for our ice cream social — a perfect way to cool off, enjoy a sweet treat and visit with friends and learn a little bit about what the Stark County Farm Bureau does!

Mark your calendars for Friday, July 24 and join us at the Stark County Junior Fair for our annual Pedal Tractor Pull!

🕠 Pull begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.
📍 New Junior Fair Building
📝 Registration opens at 2:00 p.m. at the Stark County Farm Bureau table.

Kids ages 14 and under can compete in age divisions, and we're excited to once again offer adult classes for ages 15–17 and 18+! 🏆 Prizes will be awarded to the top two finishers in each class.

🍦 After the competition, stick around for a Prairie Farms Dairy Ice Cream Social hosted by the Stark County Farm Bureau and Stark County Ag in the Classroom!
