Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is a shining testament to the Tougaloo difference and the power of a
Tougaloo education. We are excited to welcome her home for this amazing event that will inspire while actively educating the next generation of leaders, artists, and activists who will carry the legacy of Tougaloo College forward.
The Convocation reaffirms the sacred Tougaloo tradition of gathering with students and the
community on these powerful grounds to plant seeds of transformation. This event serves as notice to the next generation of changemakers, that a Tougaloo education is life changing and will give them the opportunity to work hands-on with some of today's most
brilliant minds.
Tougaloo College is the place where the past, the present, and the future of radical Black
imagination collide to inspire change. Join for a weekend you don’t want to miss.
