Remembering Officer Simon today. He was a great friend to our community, and to our campers as well! Below are a few pics from when he joined us at camp in 2019.

We are thankful that he chose to spend his life in service to Torrington, and we are praying for his family during this difficult time.

We encourage folks to make a gift in his memory to his children’s college fund. Details in his obituary, linked in the comments.

Officer Simon has done a great deal for the Torrington community (including showing up for NWBA campers!). Let's support him and his family now in their time of need.

Our prayers are with you, Rob and family!

To say we are at a loss for words is an understatement. For those who know Rob Simo… Mark Greco needs your support for Stand by Rob, Jenn, Colton, and Beckett

It's not too late to sign up for next week's camp! Spots are still available.

And if you're looking for the perfect stocking stuffer, print this photo and put it in your little player's stocking. 🙂⚾️🎄

Hello, NWBA friends and family!

We hope you are well, and still out there playing ball! ❤️⚾️

Coach Richardson is excited to announce a new opportunity for baseball skills, drills, and fun - Torrington Raider Baseball Camp!

This mini-camp will take place during winter break in the THS gym. It will include some similar elements of NWBA, but on a smaller scale.

To reserve a spot for your player, email Coach Richardson at [email protected]. You will receive a reply back with the registration form, which you can bring on the first day of camp, along with your payment.

Please share this with your friends, or anyone else who might be interested. We hope to see familiar faces, and make new friends too! See you then!

Hello NWBA camp families!

We know many of you have been waiting for info on camp 2022. Thank you for your patience!

Coach Gerry Carbone has decided to retire from Northwest Baseball Academy. Many people may not realize this, but NWBA was Coach Carbone's creation! We have him to thank for inventing trivia teams, skittle juice, and many of the camp traditions that generations of Torrington baseball players have grown to know and love. We wish Coach Carbone the best in his retirement, and we thank him for the decades of fun that he has brought to our baseball community.

Because of this shift, and some other practical issues, we won't be having camp this summer. We are looking toward coming back in 2023, and we hope you'll stay tuned! In the meantime, we invite you to reply to this post with your well-wishes for Coach Carbone, or post pics from past camp years. We sure do miss seeing all of you!

(But no, we're still not sharing the skittle juice recipe.) ;)

Let's keep in touch,

Coach Richardson and your friends at NWBA

This is tremendous... congrats Adain, team and coaches for making Torrington proud yet again!

Congratulations! What a great game with Adain Prindle #15 driving in the 15th run in 5 innings on the 15th of July to clinch the win making Torrington the District 6 Champions once again.

Great job to all the players and coaches. A fantastic group effort. Way to dominate the field during district play! ⚾️

The Torrington Juniors will start their sectionals journey this Sunday at 4p in Southington.
