Coach Richardson is excited to announce a new opportunity for baseball skills, drills, and fun - Torrington Raider Baseball Camp!

This mini-camp will take place during winter break in the THS gym. It will include some similar elements of NWBA, but on a smaller scale.

To reserve a spot for your player, email Coach Richardson at [email protected]. You will receive a reply back with the registration form, which you can bring on the first day of camp, along with your payment.

Hello NWBA camp families!

We know many of you have been waiting for info on camp 2022. Thank you for your patience!

Coach Gerry Carbone has decided to retire from Northwest Baseball Academy. Many people may not realize this, but NWBA was Coach Carbone's creation! We have him to thank for inventing trivia teams, skittle juice, and many of the camp traditions that generations of Torrington baseball players have grown to know and love. We wish Coach Carbone the best in his retirement, and we thank him for the decades of fun that he has brought to our baseball community.

Because of this shift, and some other practical issues, we won't be having camp this summer. We are looking toward coming back in 2023, and we hope you'll stay tuned! In the meantime, we invite you to reply to this post with your well-wishes for Coach Carbone, or post pics from past camp years. We sure do miss seeing all of you!

(But no, we're still not sharing the skittle juice recipe.) ;)

Great work making Torrington proud! Congrats to players and coaches! 👏🏻👏🏻

The Torrington Little League Juniors team won their 2nd straight State Championship and 3rd in 4 years! Congratulations to the players, coaches and parents on such a wonderful achievement. The memories and friendships that came out of this are what Little League baseball is all about.

This is tremendous... congrats Adain, team and coaches for making Torrington proud yet again!

Congratulations! What a great game with Adain Prindle #15 driving in the 15th run in 5 innings on the 15th of July to clinch the win making Torrington the District 6 Champions once again.

Great job to all the players and coaches. A fantastic group effort. Way to dominate the field during district play! ⚾️

The Torrington Juniors will start their sectionals journey this Sunday at 4p in Southington.

Hello campers and families,

We wish we had better news, but due to the restrictive CDC guidelines for summer camps and everything else that goes along with COVID, camp will be on hold again this year. We miss you all very much and can't wait for next year when we will be able to enjoy ALL of the activities that make Northwest Baseball Academy so much fun! In the meantime, we would love to share what our campers are up to on our page. Did your Little League team show up in the newspaper? Did you get some great summer ball pics? DM us and we'll share them with our camp community!

Paulie was a true asset to our community in so many ways, in youth sports and beyond. We were greatly saddened to hear of his passing this week, and our hearts and prayers are with his family and those who loved him. Dena, Dom and Anthony, your baseball camp family is thinking of you.
