M Lazy Heart Ranch Our business includes a show cattle production ranch, a livestock feed store and a cattle feedyard. All of our children are involved with the operation.

We are a family owned operation started by Paul and Christine Miller. PD works as our ranch show cattle manager, Skyler works as our feed store and feedyard sales person, our daughter in law Makenna works with us in the feedyard office and Paige stays as involved as she can from nearby CSU where she attends school.

Riley has grown to be an integral part of our operation and we love to help him achieve his goals. From our September sale to the winner’s backdrop—this is what it’s all about!

Larry was purchased from our 2025 Western Shootout sale on SCO and fed Purina products through our sister store, M Lazy Heart Feeds. Seeing the genetics we believe in, paired with a strong nutrition program, come together in the show ring makes this success even more meaningful.

We wanted to take a moment to wish our fearless leader a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Big Paul can allegedly be intimidating to some but our stock thinks otherwise!

Thank you for continuing to build the legacy that is The M Lazy Heart, your hard work and passion does not go unnoticed.

He doesn’t have social media (although we’re sure the HR department will show him 😉) so if you see him around be sure to tell him happy birthday!

Where are they now?

PD Miller participated in a lot of CDE/LDE teams! We was on the state champion Livestock Judging team and the National Champion Livestock Judging Team in 2013; and was the high individual overall at the National FFA Convention. He was also on the state champion Agronmy team and Meats Judging team. He was also the chair on the reserve champion parli-pro team and voted outstanding chairman in the state. Throughout his FFA career from 2012-2015 he was on the following teams:
Agronomy, Creed, Livestock Evaulation, Meats Judging, Parliamentary Procedures and Ag Sales.

“My favorite memories are traveling with the teams across the country (and globe) particularly watching Mr. Groene trot through the airport to catch our connecting flight.

FFA not only shaped me into a better person, but it laid the foundation for my career today and the accomplishments I had through college and after.” PD is super active in the livestock and show industry with M Lazy Heart Ranch.
