Teacher Appreciation Week may look a lot different now that I’m not in the classroom. However, small gestures like this and my teachers’ words of appreciation all week touch my heart as I transition into this new role and new schools. Seven years ago, I received my first set of classroom keys and Studio 20 was born!

10/22/21 marks my last day teaching in the classroom. Leaving my Artists and closing the chapter of my life that is Studio 20 is bittersweet. The acceptance, support, and love shown over the years is something that I will carry with me forever.

I always thought my biggest impact would be in the classroom. Turns out I’m so much more than that . . . I’ll be spending the rest of the school year helping teachers support their students and hopefully my energy, passion, and love for education will impact others!

Never felt more welcome to go back to school! Huge thanks to our PTA for our picnic so we could safely eat our lunch together!!
