Last month the Child Development Club and ECC's Basic Needs Center hosted the spring Parent and Community Resource Fair. 👏 The family friendly biannual event showcase support programs on campus and around the South Bay, including free groceries and a Resource Quest with book prizes for the kids!

The ECC Auto Collision Repair and Painting program recently hosted Chief Automotive instructor Ruben Castorena for a specialized training workshop. 🚘 The 2-day demonstration included laser guided 3D vehicle measuring and welding techniques.
We are grateful for the support of active industry partners like Ruben on the ACRP advisory board. Thank you for stepping into our labs and classrooms to share your expertise!

Based on updated guidance provided today by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, the CCC Security Center, and information shared by Instructure, El Camino College is restoring normal access to Canvas services.
According to the latest information available, the vulnerability associated with the incident has been addressed and statewide technology and security teams do not currently believe the platform presents an ongoing operational risk under normal use.
In addition, there is currently no indication that El Camino College District systems have been compromised.
