Dear Parents,

As we continue to monitor the Coronavirus situation, we are learning that the Coronavirus has started to spread in the South Bay area. There are confirmed cases on a rise in Torrance, Manhattan Beach, Gardena, San Pedro, and other local cities; therefore, to protect students and the community at large, Telos has decided to move virtually everything online.

Starting Monday, March 23, 2020, the following services will go online via Zoom and Google Class:
• AP Exam Preparation
• College Application Workshop
• Consultation/remote conferences
• SAT/ACT Exam preparation
• Tutoring on all subjects

This week, I’ve been helping students set a daily schedule so that each day is productive. It appears that schools will remain closed until early to mid-April. This could be detrimental on students’ work habits. So, parents, please encourage your children to be on a schedule. Since most school’s office hours are between 9am-12noon, those hours are most ideal for students to work on their schoolwork.

MESSAGE FROM ACT EXAM: "The safety of students and test center staff is ACT’s top priority. ACT has rescheduled its April 4 national test date to June 13 across the U.S. in response to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT in the next few days informing them of the postponement and instructions for free rescheduling to June 13 or a future national test date.
