Honoring Innovation in Transportation & Industry: Elijah McCoy (1844-1929) was a prolific engineer whose inventions improved the lubrication of steam engines—making railroads and factories safer, faster, and more efficient. A huge thank you to Redondo Beach USD Board of Education Vice President, Mr. Byung Cho, for bringing his adorable dog, Koda, to our Pet Health & Grooming program for some puppy pampering.
Our skilled students gave Koda a fresh shampoo and a tidy trim, showcasing the hands-on learning that happens here every day. We are so grateful for the active support and engagement of our Joint Powers Authority (JPA) board members. Seeing our programs in action means everything!

Last evening, RBEF presented a $1,150,000 check to the District for the 2025-2026 school year. The grant will fund much needed programs at the elementary, middle, and high school level.
