Today marks Juneteenth, a day to recognize & celebrate the freedom of enslaved people in America. Juneteenth provides another opportunity to address the health inequities that greatly affect the Black & BIPOC communities, especially as it ties into early screening and diagnosis for Autism. ASLA is committed to advancing equity and supporting a future where all members of the Autism community can thrive.

Dismantling this system fragments the critical journey from school to employment, putting nearly 1 million autistic students at risk of falling through bureaucratic cracks.
We must protect the rights and futures of our students.
