Noah's Ark Closed Until August

Dear Parents,

While the situation in our country and LA county has continued to change and restrictions on workplaces have started to ease, we know that many of you are wondering and we have started to receive more inquiries on when we will reopen, particularly as you may have to return to work or have already been working.

After much prayer, discussion, and consideration of the many factors that affect Noah's Ark and our ability to serve your children and family, the South Bay Church of God leadership in conjunction with Noah's Ark made the decision today that Noah's Ark will remain closed until August.

We aim to open prior to the beginning of the next academic school year and we believe opening at that time will be the best course of action for providing you with uninterrupted service moving forward, as much as it is in our control.

For those of you who wish to return to our program when we reopen, we will make re-registration forms available in July after we determine if there will be any additional restrictions on our capacity. We believe we will have space for any preschool child that is eligible to return, but we are waiting to see what the new school year will look like for our school age children and how we may need to adjust our school age program accordingly.

For those who are graduating from our programs, we will have a drive-through graduation celebration where we would like to send you off with our blessing. Please look out for a separate email with more information on that.

If you need to find alternative childcare during this time, you can find child care facilities that are currently open through the state website:
https://covid19.ca.gov/childcare/

We continue to keep you in our prayers and we pray that you would find the hidden blessings that God has for you during this difficult season.

Blessings,

Mr. Alex

With the State Stay at Home Order still in effect and the President recommending people stay at home through April 30, Noah's Ark will remain closed until further notice.

No tuition is due during the closure.

Our current plan is to assess the situation toward the end of April to determine whether or not we will be able to reopen at the beginning of May.

Noah's Ark Closing March 16 - 27, 2020

Dear Parents,

The situation with COVID-19 has been evolving rapidly with new information and best practices coming out daily.

In line with TUSD and the best practices recommended by the state, Noah's Ark will be closing March 16 - 27, 2020.

No tuition will be charged for the 2 weeks of the closure.

While we understand that this will create hardship for many of you, please understand that this decision is made in love for you, your children, and your families. Our desire is to prevent you from being exposed to this disease and closing the school is the best thing we can do at Noah's Ark to prevent exposure and transmission.

During the closure, we will continue to work to make sure your children can return to a clean environment. We hope to also be able to send out some activities that you can do with your child to continue to help with their education, growth, and development. We will continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and provide updates as necessary.

Lastly, we know that everything going on will have a significant financial impact on families as well as on small organizations like Noah's Ark. During the closure, we will be doing our best to take care of our staff, those that take care of your children each day, as well as continuing to work on taking care of the facility. While we are not charging tuition, any donations to Noah's Ark from families that are able to do so are appreciated.

We thank you for working with us through this challenging time and we pray for safety and protection for each of you.
