It's time for the annual scholarship program provided by the California LGBTQ Foundation.
Available awards through the California LGBTQ Foundation Scholarship include fourteen $5,000 one-time scholarships and one $10,000 one-time Pride Scholarship. All applications must be submitted online by 11:59 PM on June 30, 2026.
Applicants must submit a completed application, resume, transcript, two letters of recommendation, and a copy of their acceptance letter or enrollment verification letter. Additionally, applicants must submit both of the following:
A 1โ2 page paper or a short video (2โ5 minutes) explaining what the future of the LGBTQ+ community looks like to you; andA short video (2โ5 minutes) discussing a project you have worked on or would like to work on that moves us closer to the future of the LGBTQ+ community you have envisioned.For more information, visit the California LGBTQ Foundationโs scholarship webpage at https://calgbtfoundation.org/scholarship. Calling all middle and high school students who live in the unincorporated areas of LA County's Second Supervisorial District. LA Opera has a FREE Vocal and Acting program that supports students who are curious about singing and performance. This is for middle and high school students who are entering grades 6-12 to apply for this newly expanded Vocal Training Program, a dynamic, free opportunity designed to nurture talent, build confidence, and expand access to the arts.
