North Torrance High Jrotc

On November 9th we hosted our Annual Dining Out ceremony to celebrate Veterans. We are grateful to all the Veterans who took time out of their days to make it and have dinner with us. We are also thankful for all the parent volunteers and Alumni who were able to show up.

On November 9th at North high school, JROTC will be holding their annual veterans dining out ceremony. All veterans are invited but they must get in contact with C/2LT Chris Jovy ([email protected]), C/MAJ Wesley Marshall ([email protected]), C/LTC Jacob Soria ([email protected]), LTC Flores ([email protected]), or DM the nhs_jrotc Instagram account.

This weekend at the Malibu beach triathlon cadets were given the chance to help their community and get a discount on their military ball tickets. Thank you again parents and alumni for coming out and helping.

We had an amazing time volunteering this weekend at the Hermosa beach triathlon. Shoutout to all the cadets, Alumni, and parent volunteers who made it possible!

There will be a volunteer opportunity this weekend at the hermosa beach triathlon and we are heavily in need of volunteers. It”ll be a fun event and if you are interested in volunteering, there is a link on the “triathlons” story with more information. Twilight ceremony is coming up quick!
-location: main gym at north high (3620 W 182nd Street Torrance)
-time: starts at 1800 (6:00pm)
Cadets will be rewarded with scholarships, medals, ribbons, cords/ arcs as well as performances from our graduating class from the armed and unarmed teams.

HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!! We have approached another year of uncertainty and change as we go into our second year of this thing we call a pandemic.

Since we have not completely returned to normal yet and our original way of fundraising has been paused, we are asking for digital donations from you all to help a North High JROTC student get some extra cash for college!

It's that time of year cadets! Leadership Camp starts today at 1500. Make sure you are wearing polo and khakis for today's session. Tomorrow, please be in Class A uniform and at school by 0800, and bring your polo and khakis to change into. Be prepared to be trained and taught the ins-and-outs of your desired position and to develop an understanding of the meaning of leadership and teamwork.

The administration at North High has decided to remove this memorial for Christian Kitchen from campus. As mentors and parental figures for some, we are to create a safe and trusting environment during a students high school years; this memorial helped do that for some students. It was more than just a painted wall for most, it was a place for students to reflect and forever remember their friend, their brother, Christian Kitchen. Please sign this petition to help have it repainted back to the way it was.
