Quick recap of last weeks games… South (all levels) swept Torrance (non league game) and North (league game).

Friday night versus Lawndale( league game): no game for Frosh, JV easily won 70-32 and Varsity lost in a very competitive game 55-60.

Up next… South plays North today, Jan 24th in a non-league game. Frosh at home/ JV and Varsity at North.

All Basketball games vs Lawndale for tomorrow, Jan 12th, have been cancelled.

League play has been postponed until next week… stay tuned for more details.

JV played in the Championship game last night versus Millikan in the Whittier Tournament but came up short (45 - 53). Congrats to the boys for getting to the Championship game and for having a great tourney going 3 - 1.

All teams are off this week...

Good night for our Spartans! Varsity beat Waverly 72 - 46 in the Bellflower Tournament, and JV beat Fountain Valley 54 - 47 in OT in the Whittier Tournament. That must have been some game!!!

Both teams play again on Friday.

Tough loss last night for Varsity against a very athletic, sharp-shooting Servite team.

Tonight, Varsity plays Waverly at 6:00 pm in the Bellflower Tournament and J/V plays Fountain Valley at 4:30 pm in the Whittier Tournament. Lets Go Spartans!

SCORE UPDATE: Varsity and JV won their games last night. Varsity beat Bellflower (69 - 32) and JV beat Kennedy/La Palma (60-21. 🥳
