CONGRATULATIONS!
Four of our TUSD Elementary Schools (Arnold, Anza, Hickory and Towers) were elected for the prestigious 2023 California Distinguished Schools Program! They were among 356 California schools recognized for "exceptional" educational services, especially for the hard work and services during the pandemic.
In a statement released on Friday, State Superintendent Thurmond stated, “Distinguished Schools represent examples of not just excellent teaching, learning, and collaboration, but also highly successful, data-driven school efforts ranging from professional development for educators to mental health and social-emotional wellness strategies to address the needs of students and families.”
We are incredibly proud of our Elementary Schools!
