Just wanted to tell you that Jake has decided on Seattle University, and Luke (as Cole already knows) has decided on Occidental College. It feels great to be at this place where the decisions have finally been made! The help you both have given our family has been invaluable, and we are so grateful to you! Thank you for getting to know our family and our circumstances, taking the time to get to know the boys, and steering us toward these colleges that are such perfect fits for each boy.

We especially appreciated the white glove service we received
Incredibly grateful for the support we received from Ketterman College Funding, Inc. Navigating the college application process today is incredibly complex. We needed the support from Kim's team to supplement the limited resources that my daughter's high school could provide. We especially appreciated the white glove service we received from Patrick on the financial forms, since the FAFSA process had just changed. We diverged from Ketterman's advice by applying to 20 schools (about double what was recommended), but we had a unique circumstance and needed to cast a wide net. My daughter was accepted to 14 of the 20 schools. Happy to report that she's going to her #1 choice - USC. Now that we're a bit more experienced, we plan to continue with Ketterman's financial forms assistance for our younger children. I definitely recommend exploring the multitude of services that Kim's team provides.

We currently have two children in college and a third finishing his senior year in high school. I have an Ivy league MBA and I'm pretty good with complexity but the college financial aid process is brutal. The different steps don't seem intuitive. The high schools try but don't explain it very well. It requires interface with multiple public and private entities. There are countless logins and websites and Pin codes to be tracked and unique to each child in school. Parents control certain aspects while others require the high school student to perform. Every school has different needs and processes. It must be done before your child starts college and repeated every year. There are little tricks you wouldn't necessarily know that have a big impact on your award levels. And if you mess it up, it can cost you a lot of $. Since 2021, we've been working with Ketterman to navigate the process and it has been so worth it. They have a team who knows the process cold and has been critical in guiding us. Additional complexity, my wife and I are divorced with very different financial profiles. Ketterman's team understands how different schools (i.e. UC's vs private universities) look at this situation differently and gave solid guidance on how to position ourselves for success with each. Most importantly, they've gotten to know us and our kids as people and they understand where we need the most help. We are very happy with the advice and assistance we received. So far, it has led to very generous financial aid packages, allowing our children to attend excellent universities without crushing us financially. Thanks Ketterman.
