5th grade had a great day at the 56th Annual Blue Ribbon Children’s Festival, featuring an incredible performance by Hubbard Street Dance. A memorable field trip and a great chance to experience the arts beyond the classroom. 🎭🚌

What an incredible day of innovation, creativity, and discovery at the Seaside Elementary STEAM Fair! Our talented students showcased amazing projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. From hands-on experiments and creative designs to problem-solving solutions that blew us away!
We are so proud of our young thinkers, creators, and future leaders. 👏💡

🚆🌿 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌿🚆

Our 4th graders took the Metro to Madrona Marsh, turning transportation into a real-world learning experience! From navigating public transit to exploring this local natural habitat, students practiced independence, curiosity, and collaboration every step of the way.

This experience directly reflects the Portrait of a Graduate for Torrance Unified School District—developing students who are critical thinkers, responsible citizens, effective communicators, and lifelong learners.

We are so proud of our students for representing our school so well and embracing learning outside the classroom! 💙📚

Step back in time! 🇺🇸 Our 5th graders brought the American Revolution to life during their walkthrough—sharing knowledge, creativity, and lots of colonial spirit. Proud of their hard work and bravery (no tea was harmed 😄).

Our Big & Little Buddies brought Balloons Over Broadway to life by designing their own parade floats! 🎈📚

🍔💡 Fun was on the menu at the Decimal Diner today as our 5th graders used menu orders to multiply decimals in a playful, hands-on way. Their confidence grew with every order, and the excitement in the room was contagious. Math tastes pretty great when you mix it with imagination!

🍿 Our 2nd graders know how to show up! They had the top attendance for September and earned a popcorn party because their attendance is poppin’! 🎉
