Sometimes the right school is one you didn't even know existed.
A student recently said to her mom:
“Mom, Annie introduced me to this school so she did everything! I never would have known and I never would have thought about the school in the same way.”
This is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
Families often begin the boarding school search with a list of schools they've heard about — schools their friends know, schools they've seen online, or schools that seem like the obvious choices.
But finding the right fit isn't about choosing from the schools you already know.
It's about discovering the schools that might be the right fit for your particular child.
I spend time getting to know each student — their strengths, interests, personality, goals, and what they need to thrive — and then connecting those pieces to schools that families may never have considered.

My goal is always to help families step back from the stress and focus on what matters most: finding the right environment for their child to thrive.

…It might not be too late.
While many school application deadlines have passed, a number of excellent schools still have openings for the upcoming academic year.

Last week I spent 4 busy days visiting 5 amazing schools in the Mid-Atlantic: and . Alongside a great group of colleagues, we toured, met students, attended classes, and heard from various administrators, while gaining clarity about what makes each of these schools unique and incredible. It always makes for a long week, but is also so fun and exciting to take these trips and connect with school folks and other consultants. Thank you, MABS!!
