Our favorite local bee keeper, Ms. Nora, brought over a few of her honey bees in their observation hive so we could get a hands on, up close lesson on honeybees.

We had so much fun searching for the queen, observing the bees in the hive, and asking Ms. Nora all our curious questions! We also sampled some sweet honey from their Apiary.

If you're visiting the Topsfield Fair this week, be sure to visit the Essex County Beekeeping exhibit! We love learning about local pollinators. 🐝

"The Beekeeping & Honey Show at Topsfield Fair is the largest at any fair in North America. The first honey exhibits were entered in 1844. The show has been operated and sponsored by the Essex County Beekeepers Association since 1928. In 1998 the International Association of Fairs and Expositions awarded it “First Place” for the excellence of its presentation"

Summer 2026 was magical ✨

We love welcoming our alumni, student's siblings, and neighborhood friends to our program in the summer.

We had so much fun learning, playing, and adventuring with everyone.

Thanks to every family that made our summer extra special. We love you & are so grateful for these days.

It's the little things that feel the sweetest. Like picking a warm ripe strawberry on a summer morning. 🍓

When we were picking these, I was asked, "why do we call it a greenhouse, if it's not green?"

It's a safe space to grow our green plants!
This year our greenhouse is home to our carrots, blue berries, strawberries, and black berry plants. 🥕🫐

Our forest friends really like these plants, so they're protected in the greenhouse, so we can enjoy them as they grow and ripen! 🌱
