🥕 Our Farm to Summer Coloring Contest is officially open! We will be accepting submissions beginning today through August 5. 🖍️

Coloring sheets were provided to families at yesterday’s drive-thru Mobile Market & Books for Kids event and will be sent home with Summer Learning Program students today.

📚 Help Us Stock the FREE Wildcat School Supply Store! ✏️

Toppen*sh School District is excited to participate in this year's CSN National Night Out event! In addition to hosting several booths, we're hoping to offer a FREE pop-up school supply store to help our Wildcat families prepare for the first day of school.

Instead of a traditional backpack giveaway, students will get to shop for their own school supplies, choosing the items they like best based on their school's supply list. Our goal is to create a fun, empowering experience while helping families get ready for a successful school year.

To make this possible, we're hosting a School Supply Drive, and we need your help!
You can support our students by:

We're happy to partner with Second Harvest to offer a Free Food Distribution at Toppen*sh High School for our Wildcat families and community!

Join Second Harvest for a free drive-thru food distribution on:
📅 Wednesday, July 15
🕒 3:00 - 5:00 PM
📍 Toppen*sh High School (141 Ward Rd., Toppen*sh)

No appointment, identification, or documentation is required. Food will be distributed while supplies last.

We're also excited to partner with ESD 105 to provide FREE books for children from babies through middle school age during the event! A book cart will travel through the drive-thru line, allowing children to choose a free book while supplies last. We have 300 books to give away, so be sure to arrive early!

Interested in volunteering? High school students who would like to help with the food distribution are encouraged to email bkaple@toppen*sh.wednet.edu to express their interest. Volunteer service hours will be provided.

Free summer meals are available for children through Toppen*sh School District’s Summer Food Service Program!🍎

Meals are free for children ages 1-18, and students up to age 21 with special needs who are enrolled in school. All meals must be eaten on site, except for pre-registered Friday meal pick-up at Toppen*sh Middle School.

Registration for our free, full-day Discover Works Summer Program will close on Tuesday, May 19th! This program is open to all current K-8 Toppen*sh students, regardless of academic level. It is not summer school! Instead, it is a fun and engaging opportunity designed to help students stay active, continue building skills, and enjoy exciting summer experiences with their peers.

Students can look forward to...
🫧Participating in fun, hands-on enrichment activities
🚌Taking field trips
➗️📚️Strengthening their reading and math skills
👩🏻‍🔬🎨 Exploring opportunities such as science, cooking, art, community service, and more
🍎Enjoying nutritious meals, and
😋Staying connected with friends in a safe, structured, and engaging environment

The program will take place Monday through Thursday, June 29 through July 30, 2026. Daily program hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with free childcare available for 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the program each day. Transportation and meals will be provided.

Families can register by completing the ParentSquare form sent to them or by filling out a paper registration form and returning it the school or district office. Paper forms are available in school offices and at our district office. Registration will close on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
