Last Friday we were happy to welcome Prosser High School’s GEAR UP program onto our campus! These middle school & high school students were able to get more insight on the opportunities Heritage has to offer, get a tour of our campus, and were able to take some HU goodies home! Our incoming Eagles are LOVING their College Survival Kits 🤩🙌🏼

These students were able to get cleared by their Admissions Counselor after getting registered for the Fall 2022 semester. They are now ready for New Student Orientation and get to go home with new HU swag!

Our next Future Eagle Day is TOMORROW (7/20) from 3pm-6pm. Stop by our Student Services building and meet with your Admissions Counselor to learn more on what you need to do to claim your box! 🦅

ATTENTION, FUTURE EAGLES! 🚨

The deadline for the Moccasin Lake Foundation full-ride Scholarship is approaching!
Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and plan on attending Heritage full-time starting fall semester 2022.
Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate their commitment to pursuing their education. Semi-finalists will be selected from the pool of applicants after reviewing their application materials. Those semi-finalists may be invited to Heritage University for in-person interviews, used to determine five recipients.

Hello Eagles!

Meet our new Admissioms Counselor, Alexa Jaime 🤩

"I was born and raised in Grandview, WA, my entire life and graduated from Grandview High School in 2016. The lower Yakima Valley has always been considered home to me. I am incredibly happy to be back in my stomping grounds after completing my undergraduate degree. I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2020 with my bachelor's degree in Social Work. Although my alma matter is not Heritage University, I have always been an Eagle!
I look forward to working with East Valley, Eisenhower, Stanton Academy, Yakima Online, YVTech, Zillah, and Prosser students. I am eager to assist them during their transition into college to make it as smooth as possible for the student and their families."

Happy Tuesday, Eagles! 🤩

We will like to highlight one of our full-ride scholarships available for all incoming freshman and transfer students. 🚨

The Moccasin Lake Foundation Scholarship is a full-need, renewable scholarship. It is valid for up to four (4) years/eight (8) semesters of attendance towards completing a first bachelor’s degree.
Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and plan on attending Heritage full-time starting fall semester 2022.

This award is stackable with any need-based aid that you may qualify to receive, up to your maximum cost of attendance.

Happy Thursday! 🤩

The next scholarship we would love to highlight is HU’s Eagles Scholarship.

Through this scholarship, you can earn your degrees in one of HU’s STEM programs such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

A few of the application requirements are:

✅minimum GPA of 3.0 (GPA’s of 2.75-2.99 may be considered under certain circumstances)
✅Demonstrated financial need
✅Committed to major in a STEM study area
✅Interested in summer research experiences with emphasis on environmental pollution/sustainability
✅Submit Heritage University Application
✅Submit FAFSA and list HU (003777)
✅Submit current official transcripts

In case you didn’t know, this year we celebrate 40 years of Heritage University! 🥳

In honor of this we will be providing you with 40 scholarships and their respective websites for you to apply. We will start with one of a Heritage’s full need scholarship. The Moccasin Lake Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is available to all incoming freshman and transfer students.

Some of the application requirements include:
✅Must be a new incoming student
✅Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
✅Submit a personal essay
✅Submit Heritage University Application
✅Submit current official transcripts

The application deadline is March 14,2022 🚨
