We’re clearly biased, but it’s tough to argue that Elmont doesn’t have the three best custodians ever! They keep our building and campus clean, safe and ready for learning 365 days a year! Happy Custodian Appreciation Day Justin, Dan and Scott! 💙💙

Our grassy playground are too wet to run on without bringing a giant mud mess back into our building! We are changing our course this morning to a concrete-only track. For guests planning on stopping by, a few FYIs:

-The pic below shows the counter-clockwise route students will run/walk instead. The sidewalk on the east side of campus will be for STUDENTS-ONLY,and will be a “WALK-ZONE” since there will be two-way dashing traffic on it.

-Guests wanting to get to/from the playground and bus loop will need to utilize our east gym doors.

Thank you to everyone for the understanding!

Updates for tomorrow’s Bobcat Dash:

-Rain looks to be moving out of the area overnight, but we are anticipating our grassy areas being a bit soggy. If your child has multiple pairs of shoes, it would be a good idea to wear the older pair.

-Packing an extra, dry pair of socks in book bags might be recommended.

-Depending on the condition of the grass, we may modify the course to avoid wetter areas.

-PLEASE be sure to check in at the office to receive a visitor pass before proceeding to our bus loop or playground areas. To expedite this process, please have a valid drivers license ready when entering the office

-Due to the precipitation this week and kids running in our grassy areas, there will be no overflow parking in the south field.

-Students will be receiving their complimentary shirts from teachers upon arrival.

-If any questions, please give the Elmont Office a call. We are looking forward to a fun morning supporting Elmont PTO!
