KNEA and KPAC (Kansas NEA Political Action Committee) on Friday, June 26, released recommended candidates for the Kansas State Board of Education in the 2026 Primary Election:
- District 1: Democrat – Jennifer Lloyd
- District 3: Democrat – Amy Diediker
- District 5: No selection made for primary.
- District 7: No selection made for primary.
- District 9: Democrat – Heather Guernsey
