Today, more than 300 seventh-grade students came to Washburn for Women in Science Day, getting a hands-on look at science and the many possibilities a future in STEM can hold. 🔬

Students spent the day participating in labs, connecting over lunch and putting their knowledge to the test in a science quiz bowl.

We loved welcoming these future scientists, researchers, innovators and problem-solvers to campus! 💙

For the fourth consecutive year, more students are choosing Washburn! 🎉 This fall, overall full-time equivalent enrollment rose 2.3% across Washburn University and Washburn Tech, where we now serve 7,766 students.

Behind that growth are the people who make Washburn special: students pursuing their goals, faculty and staff helping them succeed and a community cheering them on. Together, we’re creating more opportunities through a personal, affordable education that prepares students for meaningful futures.
