Sheldon Child Development Center Head Start

Sheldon Child Development Center is a Head Start program connected with Topeka Public Schools. Sheldon Head Start provides services for families and children.

Since Head Start's beginning in 1965, its goal has been to boost school readiness for young children, utilizing a whole child model. These services include preschool services, medical, dental, and mental health care, nutrition services, parent education classes, and programs to help parents support their children's development.
