Robinson Middle School Band

We had a great day at the Baker Middle Level festival! Our two scores averaged to a II (Excellent) rating. So proud of these kids and the work they put in to earn this rating!

Today our 7th and 8th graders are heading to Baker University for their middle level festival. We will play two songs for our judges and get immediate feedback on our performance! Wish these kiddos luck!

Today we had 32 students attend the Holton Honor Band Festival! Thank you to Holton High school and all of the wonderful clinicians for making this a fantastic day!

Such a fun night joining the Topeka High Trojan band for part of their pregame show last night! Students rehearsed with the high schoolers, ate pizza from the band backers, and got a taste of what High school band is. Until next year!

Today our advanced band (7th and 8th graders) had class outside in preparation for our upcoming performance with the Topeka High Trojan band!! They are sounding great and are excited to perform with the high schoolers (and eat free pizza)!

Today 13 of our 7th and 8th graders participated in the Wasburn Middle Level Honor Band! They rehearsed for about seven hours and then gave a GREAT concert. Very proud of them and how they represented Robinson Middle School

Tonight the Robinson 7th and 8th graders joined the Topeka High Band for part of their pregame performance! They rehearsed, practiced, watched the high school halftime show, and made lots of great memories! Great job to both bands!!
Robinson Middle School

Last night our 7th and 8th graders got to join the Topeka High Band! We rehearsed, ate pizza, and performed "under the lights!" I think we've got some future marchers!!

RMS Band & Strings will be performing their final concert of the year today. 6:00 PM at TOPEKA HIGH SCHOOL! Enter the auditorium on the East Side of the school, off of Polk Street.

Around 2:00PM, students will be bused over to THS, take tours of the building, rehearse on stage, and have a pizza dinner before the concert. Jeans and their Robinson Band Shirt is the dress for the day.

It was great to have Dr. Bryce Call and some of the Washburn University brass students out to Robinson Middle School today!

RMS Band students have made tremendous progress this quarter and are excited to share a band concert tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7th in the RMS Cafetorium!

Students should wear all black "dress" clothes and enter from the SOUTH doors by the loading area on the lower level.

The kids (31 from Robinson and over 300 total!) had a wonderful day in Holton!

We will be back to RMS at 4:30.
