I love seeing all the NATIONALS celebration posts this time of year! 🏆❤️

But my favorite stories are always the ones about growth, perseverance, and the kids who simply refused to give up.

Because true champions aren’t defined by trophies alone. They’re defined by their mindset.

✨ The confidence to believe in themselves.
✨ The discipline to work when no one is watching.
✨ The gratitude to appreciate every opportunity.

Trophies tell part of the story, but character, humility, determination, and heart tell the rest.

As our MHDC dancers prepare for Nationals in just 12 days, I’m reminded that this is what they’ve worked for all year long. Dreams are becoming reality, and now it’s time to give it everything you’ve got, ladies! ❤️🔥

This past week I checked out - missing my dad and my son - knowing he will never get the joy of being a dad one day - my heart breaks to the what of could have been moments and for some reason this year as we are approaching his third year anniversary of his passing… I am struggling with his loss so hard - I am struggling to get out of bed - I am struggling to function to find the love of anything - so if you haven’t heard from me in a while or I seem distant, disconnected, short fused or out of sorts - I’m lost and struggling to find my happiness this week - so please give me grace and forgive me for not being able to keep up and keep moving forward with out being totally broken on the inside right now so I need space, healing and peace to deal with the fact I will never see his smiling face, hear his laughter or feel his warm embracing son hugs - my heart may never recover but at least I can recognize when I need to time to grieve and process and it might be this way the rest of my life - but today I just miss my dad, my boy and the what could’ve beens… 😭💔🕊️

😳 Grandma Duty: ACTIVATED!

This weekend I took on a challenge I’ve never done before… babysitting BOTH of my grandbuddys overnight ALL BY MYSELF! ❤️👶👦

One busy toddler.
One adorable baby.
One slightly terrified grandma. 😂

Let’s just say there were snacks, giggles, bedtime adventures, diaper changes, and a few moments where I questioned my life choices. 🤣

But honestly? These are the memories I will cherish forever.

If you’ve ever been a grandparent, parent, aunt, uncle, or babysitter, you know exactly how exhausting and rewarding these moments can be.
