Our goal is to help children become indepedent, self-confident, inquistive learners. We also include swim lessons within our weekly lesson plan.
We have a preschool with wrap-around childcare, which makes a unique facility in the Topeka area. YMCA Preschool emphasizes a hands-on learning curriculum, motor skill development and creativity. we strive to develop the whole child and to provide an environment for preschoolers to learn, gain self-confidence, make new friends and respect others. A new playground/beautification project has started at the Downtown YMCA!! In another month we will send out the 'after' pictures! It will look great!
