During Teacher Appreciation Week, we are proud to highlight each of our wonderful teachers. Today, we are excited to introduce Ms. Kayhlah!
Ms. Kayhlah joined our team in November 2025 and has quickly become a valued member of our school family. She is currently a senior at Hayden Catholic High School and balances both her education and her role within our program with dedication and care.
Ms. Kayhlah serves as our part-time float, working afternoons Monday through Thursday after school. She assists in both the preschool and toddler classrooms, always stepping in where needed and supporting both staff and students with a positive attitude.
This fall, Ms. Kayhlah plans to continue her education at Washburn University, and we are excited to see all she accomplishes in the future.
We are grateful for the kindness, flexibility, and hard work she brings to our school community each day!

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we are proud to highlight each of our esteemed teachers. Today, we are excited to introduce Ms. Ross!
Ms. Ross joined our school family in the fall of 2022 and has been a valued member of our team ever since. She completed her apprenticeship through Washburn Tech in Early Childhood Education, demonstrating her commitment to education for young children.
Ms. Ross serves as the Lead Toddler Teacher in the St. Gabriel Classroom. She brings creativity and passion to her role each day, creating engaging and meaningful experiences for the toddlers in her care.
In her spare time, Ms. Ross enjoys drawing and sharing her artistic talents through fun and creative art activities with the children, helping enrich their learning and self-expression.
We are grateful for Ms. Ross’s dedication, creativity, and the positive impact she makes in our school community each and every day!

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we are proud to highlight each of our esteemed teachers. Today, we are excited to introduce Ms. Mirella!
Ms. Mirella joined our school family in December 2021 and has been a wonderful addition to our team ever since. She successfully completed her apprenticeship with us through Washburn Tech in Early Childhood Education and also completed her CDA (Child Development Associate) courses, demonstrating her dedication to professional growth and lifelong learning.
Ms. Mirella currently serves as the Lead Pre-K Teacher in St. Theresa’s Classroom, where she fosters the growth and development of her students through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in a warm and nurturing environment. In addition to her teaching role, she also serves as our Assistant Director, helping support our students and families each day with care and dedication.
During the summer months, Ms. Mirella also serves as the Lead Teacher for our school-age summer camp program in the St. Patrick’s Classroom. She provides guidance, encouragement, and enriching experiences that help children learn, grow, and thrive.
We are truly grateful for Ms. Mirella’s commitment, passion, and the positive impact she makes in the lives of our students each and every day!

Ms. Helen joined our school family in March 2024 and has been a wonderful addition to our team. She successfully completed her apprenticeship with us through Washburn Tech in Early Childhood Education, demonstrating her dedication to learning and professional growth. Ms. Helen is also a graduate of Basehor-Linwood Virtual School.
Ms. Helen serves as the Lead Teacher in St. Anne’s Younger Preschool Classroom, where she fosters the growth and development of her students through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in a warm and supportive learning environment.

Ms. Gia joined our team in May 2025 and has quickly become a valued part of our school family. She is the proud mother of a 5-month-old son. She is currently working toward earning her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential to further her education in early childhood development.
Ms. Gia currently serves as the Lead Teacher in our St. Francis Preschool classroom. In April, she helped open and establish our newest preschool classroom, St. Francis, where she continues to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for her students.
Before stepping into her lead teacher role, Ms. Gia served as an assistant preschool teacher and first joined our program during summer camp last year as a co-teacher.
Ms. Gia’s dedication to her students, her continued education, and our program is truly commendable. We are grateful for the kindness, flexibility, and hard work she brings to our school community each day!

Ms. Bella joined our team in September 2023 and has been a valued part of our school family ever since. She completed her apprenticeship in Early Childhood Education through Washburn Tech and continues to bring her knowledge, care, and enthusiasm to our program each day.
Currently, Ms. Bella works in the toddler classroom during both the mornings and afternoons while serving as our Lead Float. She has provided support in both the younger preschool classroom and the toddler room, always stepping in wherever needed with a positive attitude and caring heart.
Ms. Bella’s dedication to her education, her students, and our program is truly commendable. We are grateful for the kindness, flexibility, and hard work she brings to our school community each day!

We are honored to highlight Mrs. Rita during Teacher Appreciation Week!
Mrs. Rita joined our school family in October 2023 and has been a valued member of our team ever since. She brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and compassion to our school community.
She plays an important role throughout our school by covering lunch breaks and stepping into classrooms as a substitute teacher whenever needed. Her flexibility and willingness to help wherever she is needed make her an invaluable part of our team.
Mrs. Rita proudly served in the Navy before continuing her education and earning an associate degree in Accounting. She also has experience in medical records administration, where she developed strong organizational and administrative skills.
Mrs. Rita. She has been married for 20 years and is the proud mother of a son, stepdaughter, stepson, and two adopted children.
One of Mrs. Rita’s favorite parts of working with children is providing comfort and care to our toddlers, especially through rocking and soothing them to sleep. Her gentle and nurturing nature helps create a warm, safe, and loving environment that supports the well being and development of our youngest learners.
We are truly grateful to have Mrs. Rita as part of our educational team!
