Don't forget! PTO meeting is TONIGHT in the Hall of Fame room from 6-7 p.m.!

Reminder about the new phone policy going into effect this year:

No phones (or other personal electronic devices) are allowed to be used or seen during school hours (including lunchtime)!

There will be paper schedules handed out to students during their Trojan Time first thing in the morning, but we would highly recommend that students attempt to look over and memorize their schedule before coming to school tomorrow morning.

Students will be assigned lockers in their Trojan Time class, and it's recommended that students leave their personal devices in their locker during the day.

Any questions can be asked during Trojan Time or to your Divisions during the first week.

**If you/your student has or might have a medical exemption, please contact your Divisions for more information and questions.

We officially kicked off the year with our new and amazing freshmen for Freshmen First Day, led by our Link Crew leaders! Freshmen walked through the main doors for the first time to be welcomed by the Link leaders with games and activities around the school.

We can't wait to see the rest of our students tomorrow for the first full day of school!

Coming up on August 28-30, we're partnering with Club Carwash here in Topeka for their Back-To-School Wash Weekend! When you purchase a $5 wash, we will receive $1 for our school.

When customers visit the wash location on August 28-30, they will not need to mention the school or school district's name - everyone who purchases a $5 Wash will benefit the school!

They are also running a "Nominate your favorite teacher" program where the winning teacher will receive a $5,000 gift card! The link to nominate someone is live and available through the QR code.

Our Link Crew gives up days of their summer to come in for planning and organizing the freshmen first day of school experience. Today they are sharing the plan with the freshmen Trojan Time teachers.

Thank you to these student leaders that will do all they can to ensure our freshmen have a successful first day of learning THS traditions and finding classes.

Thank you to Envista Federal Credit Union for giving our staff a place to gather, connect, and celebrate at the end of Professional Development Week!

All staff were invited to enjoy food, refreshments, and most importantly, time together. It was a great opportunity to enjoy one another’s company and build connections before we begin our school year with students joining us next week.

We are grateful for the opportunity to come together, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back!

Topeka Public Schools Convocation 2026-2027 is underway and Topeka High is here, represented and ready to go!

Mija Geering (Senior Topeka High) sang our Nation Anthem, our Topeka High Drumline started our pep, and Ms. Jennifer Antonetti was awarded the Kansas University Wolfe Teaching Excellence Award.
Mr. Phillip Wrigley was also awarded as one of our Top Kansas Teachers!
