Walk-in registration is happening until 7:00 today, and all high school students are required to attend in person.

While you're here, be sure to:
🎓 Have your picture taken and pick up your student ID badge
🚗 Get your parking permit (if applicable)
💵 Pay your fees
📋 Take care of other important back-to-school items

Reminder to Washburn Rural High School families: Walk-in registration is happening today (Wednesday, July 29) and tomorrow (Thursday, July 30) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the school.

Be sure to stop by to pick up your student ID badge, parking permit, and more. We look forward to seeing you!

Please join us in CONGRATULATING Ms. Haley Schmitz who was recently named the Steve and Janet Wozniak Kansas Tech Teacher of the Year! Ms. Schmitz teaches AP Computer Science, among a myriad of other courses, and has dramatically expanded the program at WRHS since her arrival! She received the award at the Ad Astra Technology Summit held on the campus of Wichita State University a week ago. She was also recently named as the USD 437 Secondary Nominee for Kansas Teacher of the Year! She is pictured below with WRHS Principal, Ed Raines.

For the first time since 1952, your Washburn Rural High School Junior Blues are 🏆 STATE BASEBALL CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The Junior Blues capped off an incredible season with a thrilling victory over the defending state champions, proving that hard work, determination, and belief in each other can accomplish great things.

Congratulations to these future Hall of Famers, their coaches, and everyone who helped make this historic season possible. You’ve made Junior Blue Nation proud and secured your place in Washburn Rural history.
