πŸŽ“πŸ¦ Today we celebrate our amazing 6th graders as they take the next big step on their journey! While they may be moving on to new halls, new teachers, and new adventures, one thing will never change… they will always be part of the Lion family.

Congratulations to the future Class of 2032! Your hard work, growth, laughter, and memories have left a mark on our school, and we cannot wait to see all the incredible things you accomplish in the years ahead.

Once a Lion, always a Lion. πŸ¦πŸ’›

Please join us in welcoming our new School Resource Officer, Craig Rocastle, to the Logan family!

Over the past week, Officer Craig has been spending time throughout our building getting to know students and staff, building positive relationships, and already becoming a familiar face in our school community. We are excited to have him as part of Logan and look forward to the support, safety, and connections he will bring to our students each day.

Welcome to Logan, Officer Craig! πŸ’™πŸ¦

Our 6th grade authors officially became published writers! πŸ‘»πŸ“–

Back around Halloween, our students worked hard crafting their own spooky stories full of suspense, creativity, and imagination. Yesterday, thanks to the amazing Ms. Shelley in the office, those stories were professionally bound into a real book for our students to treasure for years to come!

To celebrate, each student participated in their very own author signing event β€” signing copies just like real published authors. Watching their pride and excitement as they shared their work was such a special moment. We are so proud of the creativity, effort, and confidence our 6th graders showed throughout this project! βœοΈπŸ–€

Last week our 6th graders became teachers, creators, and storytellers! πŸŽ²πŸ“šβœ¨

As a final project connected to their novels, students designed and created their own board games inspired by the stories they read. They then teamed up with our K–3 students to teach them how to play, practice teamwork, and share the excitement of reading in a whole new way.

Some students also wrote graphic novels and heartfelt letters to the characters from their books, which they proudly read aloud to the younger students. Watching our older students mentor, encourage, and connect with the younger grades was such a special experience for everyone involved. ❀️

So proud of the creativity, leadership, and hard work our students showed through this project!

Happy Speech-Language Pathologist Day to the amazing Ms. Wools and Mrs. Darbo! πŸ’™πŸ—£οΈ

We are so thankful for the creativity, patience, and heart they bring every single day. Ms. Wools and Ms. Darbo make speech engaging, fun, and meaningful for our students while also providing valuable support and guidance to our staff on how to better support our speech students in the classroom.

Their dedication helps students find their voice, build confidence, and succeed in so many ways. Thank you both for all you do β€” we appreciate you more than words can say!
