October is Bullying Prevention Month, and this year we’re saying BOO to bullying! 👻

We’re spending the month reminding our students that kindness is powerful, inclusion matters, and everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and welcome at school. 🧡

🧠🫀🦴 Our first graders have been learning about what makes the human body AMAZING! 🩺✨

As they wrapped up CKLA Module 2, our first graders explored the human body and learned how all of its different systems work together to help us move, breathe, think, grow, and stay healthy. Talk about some pretty BIG learning for our littlest scientists! 👏

And what better way to bring that learning to life than with a visit from Baker University nursing students! 💙

Our students got to learn more about what nurses do, ask questions, and check out some of the tools and instruments nurses use to care for patients and help keep people healthy. 🩺🧼

A HUGE thank-you to the Baker University nursing students for spending time with our first graders and making their learning even more meaningful! We love giving our students opportunities to connect what they're learning in the classroom to the real world. 💙

Way to go, first grade! We are so proud of you! 🎉👏

🚒🔥 Learning About Fire Safety! 🔥🚒

Our kindergarteners had some very special visitors today! Our local firefighters stopped by to teach students about fire safety, what to do in an emergency, and how firefighters help keep our community safe. 🧑‍🚒❤️

Our little learners loved getting to see the firefighters and learn from the experts! We are so thankful for the time they took to visit our school and help our students become fire-safe and safety-smart! 🚒✨
