We’re proud to celebrate Mina W., whose achievements, character, and commitment to others have helped make our school community stronger!

This fall, Mina will be attending Washburn Rural High School. At graduation, Mina received the Character Counts Award in recognition of the kindness, integrity, and positivity she brings to our school community. She was also selected by teachers and her classmates to deliver the Class Address, where she reflected on the meaningful relationships formed at Topeka Collegiate, reminding her peers that, “The connections you make during your journey will impact you in a way no paper victory ever will… I do remember the things that matter most, the things that lie not in the knowledge itself but in the people behind it.”

In addition, Mina was honored with Outstanding Student Awards in Art, Language Arts, Science, and Spanish, a testament to her dedication and achievement across a wide range of disciplines.

We are so proud of all Mina has accomplished, and can't wait to see the positive impact she continues to make in the years ahead.

We know you've been waiting all week! More teacher summer highlights to share! 🌟

Ms. Mallory Koger spent quality time making memories with her nieces and nephew!

Mrs. Sally Riggs and her husband explored the beautiful city of New Orleans, taking in the incredible food, music, and architecture.

Mrs. Shelly Robinson soaked up the sun during a relaxing beach week with her family.

Ms. Rebecca Bonilla spent two weeks in Puerto Rico and came back refreshed, with batteries charged and a heart full of sweet memories with family and friends. Two of her favorite spots in Old San Juan: La Capilla del Cristo (Chapel of Christ), a small sanctuary at the top of the city walls with several legends surrounding its construction, and La Rogativa, a sculpture commemorating a women-led religious procession that convinced a British naval blockade to retreat, mistaking the sights and sounds for reinforcements arriving.

Mrs. Kelley Berryman said getting to spend lots of time with her grandchildren was the highlight of her summer. The best blessings ever! 💕

We love hearing how our teachers spent their summer!
Welcome back, everyone! 🍎
